Royal Patronage II


Royal Patronage II, a Venetian glass mosaic panel, was presented to His Majesty King Harald of Norway by Concordia College, Moorhead, Minnesota in 1995.

David Hetland presents the mosaic to His Majesty King Harald and Her Majesty Queen Sonja of Norway.
Mosaic, Royal Patronage II To commemorate The Royal Visit of Their Majesties King Harald and Queen sonja of Norway, and to acknowledge King Harald as the Royal Patron of Skogfjorden (the Norwegian Language Village), this mosaic panel was commissioned. It features the symbol of the Concordia Language Villages, a central globe surrounded by human forms linked hand-in-hand around the world against a field of green (earth) and blue (water and sky). It was presented in Moorhead, Minnesota, in 1995 and is now a part of the Royal Norwegian archival collection.
