DAVID J. HETLAND * LITURGICAL & PUBLIC ART

Blessed Virgin is a life-sized, polychrome wood sculpture commissioned by Transfiguration Catholic Church in Oakdale, Minnesota. It was designed by the Hetland staff and carved in Italy by the Demetz Studio. The stained-glass windows behind the figure reveal a pastoral prayer garden setting.
